Galaxian brought color to the space invaders in 1979: a formation of aliens that dive-bomb your ship in twos and threes. Namco followed it up with Galaga, the one where you rescue your captured ship to fire double, and with Galaga '88, which jumps between dimensions. FAQ
Galaxian or Galaga?
Galaga is the more famous one, for the captured ship and the spiral entrances, but it all started with Galaxian, its dive-bombing aliens and colorful formation. Galaxian is already playable here; the ones still missing get here sooner the more votes they get on their pages.
Can you play Galaxian with a friend online?
Yes, two players taking turns, like the arcade cabinet: when one of you loses a ship, the other plays, each from your own home and watching the other's game. And the high score is there for the whole arcade to see.
Can you play Galaxian and Galaga on your phone?
Yes. It runs in your phone or PC browser, with on-screen touch controls, a keyboard or a controller, with nothing to install. Each of you can play on a different device and still be in the same game.
