Play Knight Lore online

Knight Lore is a 1984 ZX Spectrum game from Ultimate Play The Game. It came on cassette, and loading it meant waiting it out in front of the TV while colored stripes raced across the border and the loading screen appeared line by line.

In UsuArcade's ZX Spectrum Room you play it online, free, right in your browser: grab a desk, pick the tape off the shelf and, once the loading ritual is done, you're in.

How to play

On a computer you play with the keyboard or a gamepad; on your phone, with the on-screen joystick and buttons. The tape's card on the shelf reminds you what each key does.

Fun facts

• Published by Ultimate Play The Game in 1984.
• It loaded from cassette tape, like almost all Spectrum software.

In the ZX Room

In the ZX Room you play and your friends watch your game live, with picture and sound, while you all chat by voice or text, just like when they came over to watch you play.

No coins here: walk in, pick the tape and play. If you still own the original, official mode lets you load your own tape.
